AutoCAD For PC
AutoCAD (originally known as AutoCADR12) was initially developed by a software company called Cognition Research and Development Corporation (Cognition) in San Rafael, California, using the term CAD as an abbreviation for Computer Aided Design. The original product was named AutoCADR12. It was initially only available for the Apple Macintosh platform.
In 1989, the name AutoCAD was introduced. It was the first CAD program to offer a web browser-based user interface. It was also one of the first CAD programs to support the Sun Microsystems SPARC platform. Another first for AutoCAD was its use of digital drawings for the first time. With AutoCAD, Cognition began to set a new standard for CAD.
In 1990, a version of AutoCAD was also released for the IBM PC platform, which was a milestone in the market adoption of the product. This version of AutoCAD could be installed and run on top of MS-DOS.
In 1996, the first release of AutoCAD for Microsoft Windows was released, and it gained a lot of attention. AutoCAD could be run on Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows 95, and Windows 98.
In 1998, the first release of AutoCAD for Mac OS 9 was released. At the time of its release, the majority of CAD users were still using a Mac. The following year, AutoCAD for Windows was released and was not compatible with older Windows operating systems.
In 1999, AutoCAD was released for the Palm OS. AutoCAD was the first graphic software application to do this.
In 2000, the first release of AutoCAD for Windows CE was released. It was primarily designed for smaller, embedded systems.
In 2001, the first release of AutoCAD for Windows Mobile was released. It was primarily designed for smaller, embedded systems.
In 2001, AutoCAD for Windows 2000 was released. It supported 32-bit and 64-bit Windows and included Direct X for the first time.
In 2002, the first release of AutoCAD for Windows XP was released. It was primarily designed for smaller, embedded systems.
In 2002, AutoCAD RT for Linux was released.

File format: In general terms, ‘a drawing’ can be stored in two file formats:
DWG: The native AutoCAD file format.
DXF: A drawing exchange format which is often used for file-exchange operations, as well as for importing into and exporting from other CAD programs.
ObjectARX is the component library which forms the basis for the Autodesk Exchange Apps, and is now defunct as of May 2016.
AutoCAD’s internals are built around the idea of blocks, and operate on those blocks. AutoCAD is distributed as a collection of blocks, and is released in 32-bit and 64-bit formats.
The 2D view is organized by blocks. The user may edit, manipulate, move, and resize the blocks that are visible in the view. The 2D view is organized into windows and layers. By default, the active window is always visible. The user may manipulate the visibility of the other windows and layers.
All blocks are stored in one or more files that are called blocksets, or collections of files. Each blockset consists of one or more blocks. Each block consists of a header, the view data, and data for the block’s contents. All files are stored in a directory in the same hierarchy, with the blockset itself being the root of the directory.
The architectural drawings are organized into objects, which are modeled after real objects, such as plumbing, electrical, and mechanical items. They can be associated with simple geometric primitives such as circles, lines, and polygons. The objects may be assigned a name and a datum point. They may be associated with one or more blocks, or even a single block if the drawing is comprised of only the object. This allows the user to place, orient, and manipulate drawings of a single object.
The modeling environment is based on a block-based system, and is organized by blocks. Each block has a header which contains block-specific information, and a view data block which contains the information specific to the view for which the block was drawn.
Each block may be associated with one or more blocksets, which in turn may be associated with one or more files. The blocksets and blocksets files are stored in separate files from the blocks. Each blockset file has a header and a view data block. Each blockset file, in turn, has a header and a blockset file. There is also a blocks

Category:AutodeskWhat Is the Difference Between Android and iOS?
One of the biggest differences between the Android OS and the iOS OS is that, as a rule, it is much easier to replace the hardware on the Android phone. On the other hand, you do not really need to worry about replacing the software of your iPhone. Let’s take a closer look:
In terms of hardware, Android is used by an ever-increasing number of manufacturers. This means that the quality is getting better and better as more companies take advantage of Android’s ease of use. The screen on an iPhone is also quite easy to replace. In fact, you can even replace the screen with a digitizer screen.
The iOS operating system has a number of advantages. For example, the ability to run apps, the number of pre-installed apps and Apple’s position as the market leader make this OS very attractive.
The main advantage of the Android OS is that you can choose exactly what apps you want to be installed on your device. As well as this, Android is more open than the iOS OS. This means that there are many developers who make Android apps.
There are other reasons for choosing Android over iOS, too. For example, you can easily hack an Android phone. As such, you can install apps that do not come from the Android market. If you have an Android phone, you will be able to do this, too. Android is also a lot more secure than iOS
What’s New In?
For any drawings (AutoCAD 2019 or later) that you send to manufacturers to get feedback, you can now import the feedback directly into the drawing to receive status updates, and more.

Add Comments to drawings: You can add your thoughts to any part of a drawing in 3D or 2D, such as the assembly drawing, component drawing, or a feature. Comments can contain text or sketches of a drawing, such as a block or assembly where you’d like to show or discuss a specific detail, or a component where you’d like to show a complex or multi-step procedure. You can add comments to drawings as you’re creating them.

If you send a drawing to the manufacturer that also contains a drawing (for example, a sheet of paper and the drawing), you can now sync those drawings together.
